Una mujer entra en una óptica…
Mujer:-Quiero unas lentes de color azul, por favor.
Optometrista:-Sabe usted la marca?
Mujer:-No, pero unas que sean normales, para mi vaya!
Optometrista:-mmm ¿ha llevado alguna vez?
Mujer:-Si.
Optometrista:-Pues debería indicarme el tipo de lente que utiliza, sino tendré que hacerle unas pruebas para poder pedírselas.
Mujer:-Nunca me han hecho ninguna prueba, llevo unas normales, no tenéis de las más normales??
Optometrista:-mmm todas son normales. Y como hay tantas tengo que saber que tipo necesita usted. No puedo pedirle si no se hace las pruebas.
Mujer:-Pues no lo entiendo!
La mujer acaba marchándose indignadísima de la óptica sin hacerse las pruebas.
Las lentes de contacto cosméticas igual que las lentes de contacto normales necesitan una adaptación previa, es decir, hace falte que un especialista analice a fondo el estado ocular del paciente para poder determinar qué tipo de lente de contacto es más aconsejable para el/ella, tanto si requiere una graduación como si no. ¿Verdad que si tienes un pié del número 40 no te vas a comprar unos zapatos del 36? ¿Por qué? ¿Por qué vas a ir mal verdad?? Pues con los ojos estamos en las mismas! De nuestros ojos solo conocemos el color y ya está. ¿Verdad que no sabes su tamaño, ni que cantidad ni que cualidad de lagrima tienes? Pues por eso es necesaria la actuación de un especialista ya que él determina todos estos parámetros y aconseja la lente de contacto ideal para cada uno, ya que de lentes de contacto no solo hay una sino que hay muchas igual que los zapatos (diferentes modelos, diferentes materiales, diferentes tamaños, diferentes cuidados…).
Un ojo con una lente de contacto que no le corresponde y con un uso incontrolado y abusador puede tener serios problemas a la larga apareciendo úlceras cornéales conduciendo a una infección interna del ojo que si está incontrolada puede debilitar la visión e incluso, en casos muy extremos puede provocar ceguera.
Por eso es importantísimo que un especialista se encargue de adaptar la lente de contacto y después ir revisándose la adaptación cada año.

Muy bien expuesto.
Un ejemplo muy claro el de los zapatos, y por lo que tengo entendido, no hay que jugar mucho con las lentillas, que si no tienes cuidado, puedes hacerte un cristo en los ojos.
Esperemos que la gente lea esto, y se de cuenta de lo que puede llegar a pasarle si no hace bien las cosas.
Y si en un sitio te las dan sin hacerte las pruebas… ya sabes a que puedes exponerte

Has estado sublime y ni yo mismo lo podría haber explicado mejor.
Solo tengo una duda, si llevo un 46 y me compro un 36, me iran bien? Como tienen las mismas unidades.
Otra duda, para que c… la gente se compra lentillas de colores?

Muy buena información! Es necesario saber que lentes usar porque podrian dañar el ojo. Una vez que lo hayas hecho ya sabrás que lentes de contacto usar ya se gradual o cosmetica.
En mi caso fue asi y ahora ya se cuales comprar. Por suerte hay muchas ofertas en lentes de contacto por internet y a precios increibles, la ultima vez las encargue en forma online y hasta me las enviaron gratuitamente…
No compre sin haberse hecho un estudio previo… no todos los ojos son iguales.

Muy útil esta información para estar conscientes de que no se puede jugar con este tipo de cosas, el ojo es extremadamente sensible. Me parece genial que existan sitios para comprar lentillas por la web siempre y cuando la compra sea responsable y con receta.
